Did You Know …

When Brenda Lee and Lucy met …

… Lucy was only a puppy and Brenda Lee was about 6 years old. In human years, Brenda Lee would have been 17 years old and Lucy would have been 5 years old.

Now, Brenda Lee is 17 years old and Lucy is 11.

How old would they be now in human years?

During the Winter, Brenda Lee and Lucy are allowed to play at the beach and they love to run and play together with Eddie and Red (the 2 other dogs) and Kylian (the other horse) and their human friends.

  1. Brenda Lee and Lucy have a friendship like no other species has. Although they have been friends for quite a long time, they will be friends till the end of time. It is wonderful to see how a horse and a dog interact with each other, especially joyfully playing together and looking out for each other as well. They have a special bond that no human or animal can break. They are bonded thru love for life. They keep a close eye on each other, keeping each other in view if one should wander away. To see this powerful animal interacting with this tiny spirit of spitfire is an amazing thing to see for yourself. Brenda Lee (the gentle giant) would never hurt Lucy. She’s always there, lending a caring hoof and a huge tongue full of kisses. Lucy giving Brenda Lee the love right back. I know, I witnessed this myself. Although I have never witnessed them swimming together, maybe someday I can swim with them. I could never be a part of the bond they share. I can only be their special friend, loving them, supporting them, hugging and kissing them. KellyAnn Piergiorgi
