Power of Now: It’s All in your Scenery

As I was talking with my friend last week, she quoted a reference from a person she respected very much and whose words have inspired her many times. The inspiring person has long ago passed away, yet her words were bringing light to my friends dark moments today.

I mentioned that her teachers words were simple observations from the scenery of her life.

Simple yet profound awareness of the content that she had assembled in the context of her life.

This all came about because I had mentioned that she was as great as the greatest of people that had ever lived. Every great person thought thoughts, spoke words and did deeds inspired from the space and time of their lives.

The content was what resulted from the thoughts and feeling they had in that space.

Their words of wisdom were simply words of witness of the scenery that resulted from the thoughts and feeling and actions they had in the space of their lives.

To a horse, space management is a life or death issue. Their lives and the life of the herd is dependent on their awareness and movement within the space they occupy.

We can all learn from a horse to first stay space focused, and second, sense what is in our space then make sense of it.

Letting our senses experience our environment fully is living greatly!

When we do this without judgment we can speak from a place of acceptance, authenticity and genuineness as the “Great Ones” do.

Experiencing horses, animals and nature without interpretation has offered me this scenery and does so for you also.

Sensing your life will connect you with your greatness and you too will simply tell others about the scenery of the content in your life, knowing full well it all came from the context you created it in.

Don’t like your scenery, change the context of your story and the content will follow your focus to Greatness.

Feel the Connections,
Brian Reid
